KURZIUS Aerospace GmbH edit components with galvanic treatments to improve the corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and guarantee an electrical conductivity and chemical resistance.
The used galvanic methods are anodizing (e.g. sulfuric acid anodize, anodize wine-sulfuric acid, boric acid anodizing), chromize (yellow chromating with alodine 1200 and alodine 600), colorless passivation (e.g. surtec 650) and passivation for different major standards (e.g. AMS 2700). We can offer the conversion layer for components with the size of 6m x 4m x 3m. In this area it’s recommended to combine it with painting under observation of shipment costs. Furthermore we use different staining processes to grease such as colored anodize.
The KURZIUS Aerospace GmbH has an own chemical laboratory and an internal water treatment system to meet high galvanic conditions.
The classic after-treatments like painting, labeling and packaging are also part of the range of services.
The KURZIUS Aerospace GmbH uses both wet and dry painting processes as well as powder coating to protect components from external influences and especially corrosion. Electrically conductive and also non-conductive materials (z.B. aus Aluminium, Stahl, Kunststoff und sonstigen Metallen) are provided with a permanent and high-quality surface protection. Likewise, the painting process produces decoratively attractive surfaces in terms of colour, structure and effect on almost all substrates, including chrome paintwork. KURZIUS Aerospace GmbH use for special requirements on the surface quality a (Reinraum) of the category ISO 6 for painting. Decorative surface requirements are also met by water transfer printing processes.
The necessary preparations for painting are ensured by chemical and mechanical processes. This includes galvanic processes such as passivating, anodizing, pickling and degrease. Mechanical processes include component blasting, grinding and filling and various cleaning processes.

An important pre-treatment step in surface technology is the blasting of components with different media. KURZIUS Aerospace GmbH has various facilities and many years of experience for this purpose.
In addition to the blasting of components, the pickling of various metals and the removal of paint from any components is also included to our services.
